Roger Sidaway (PhD)
Roger specialises in analysing conflict resolution and public participation case studies, which he has undertaken in Britain, the USA and the Netherlands.
He has trained as both an environmental and community mediator. His recent work includes participatory exercises on tourism and visitor management in the Cairngorms and Upper Deeside and developing partnerships with local authorities and community groups in Edinburgh.
Roger is author of the book Resolving Environmental Disputes; from Conflict to Consensus and established the postgraduate module Participation in Policy & Planning at the University of Edinburgh.
